We at Clear Creek believe the most important decision a person
can make is to receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and
become an active disciple of God's Kingdom.  We believe that
God has gifted us to "prepare God's people for works of service,
so that the body of Christ may be built up." (Ephesians 4:12)
Therefore, every individual who has expressed personal faith in
Jesus Christ is invited to minister among us, according to
their unique gifts given to them by God.

"Dr. K.L. "Pat" Pattison serves us as
our Senior Pastor at Clear Creek Church.
He was raised in church, but did not
receive Christ as his personal Savior
until he was an adult.  As a young father,
he began to read Bible stories to his
daughter and discovered some answers to
life that his secular education had not
provided.  Shortly following the birth
of his second child, Pat came to Christ,
exchanging the "good" life for the
redeemed life.

Following his conversion, Pat became active
in church life and taught Sunday school.  Several years later
he heard God's call to prepare for mission work and, after the
arrival of their third daughter, he enrolled in Denver
Seminary's Master's Program.  This was the beginning of many
years of formal and practical education.

Pat and his wife, Patricia, entered into church planting work
in the Denver metro area until the time that he arrived in
Wheat Ridge to fill the Senior Pastor position at Clear Creek
Church.  Pastor Pat preaches and teaches in four separate
services and Bible studies throughout the week, and his primary
goal is to use the Word of God to develop and prepare people
for service in the Kingdom of God.  Many at Clear Creek consider
Pat their beloved pastor, friend, and mentor.  His Bible studies
and sermons always deliver thought-provoking, discussion-provoking,
life-changing lessons about living the Christian life in the
21st Century."

Years ago this valley was known for its many fruit orchards and
garden farms and our community was named Fruitdale.  On
March 11, 1890, a church was organized and land donated for the
original building, which is our small chapel.  Known as Clear
Creek Valley Baptist Church, meetings were held in the old
Fruitdale school, located west of the present church.  Our name
was changed to Fruitdale Baptist Church to reflect the surrounding
community, until our centennial, when we went back to Clear Creek
Valley Baptist Church and then shortening the name to Clear Creek
Church.  The corner stone for the original building was laid in
1905, and the current Sanctuary was built in the 1960s. Our
congregation is and active participant in the CBA of A and its
Mission Societies.
